This Wednesday, November 21st we're celebrating our first whole year of Cat's Corner at Savanna Jazz Club!
(IMG:http://www.catscornersf.com/1year.jpg) Dance Party starts at 9:30pm with Live Music by Corner Pocket! Drop-in Swing Lesson at 9pm. $10 cover. Location: Savanna Jazz Club 2937 Mission St. between 25th & 26th SF, CA, 94110 near 24th & Mission BART More info at: Cat's Corner Website Our actual one-year anniversary would have been August 30th, but Catrine was a little occupied delivering baby Bianca, so we postponed our party until now! We've come a long way in 1 year. We started with only 1-hour drop-in swing lesson, and now we have 3 lessons full of enthusiastic dancers! Whereas we had a DJ most weeks and an occasional live band, now we've got the awesome Corner Pocket as our house band every week! Plus DJ Jeff Yih as our house DJ! Best of all, we're thankful to see a growing and evolving crowd of friendly dancers coming out each week making Cat's Corner a hip, happening and swinging party every Wednesday night! We hope to see you out this Wednesday...as usual we've got suprises in store. And we know you don't have work the next morning...so you have every excuse to party late with us! Cheers! Wow, what a great party! I've haven't seen this place so packed! :sorcerer: And Catrine gave a killer tap performance with The Band and Nate singing "Putting on The Ritz". I love watching Catrine getting into it while tapping, great rhythms!
